How to order a wheelchair for your visit to the Oakland Medical Center

Request wheelchairs in advance:

Call Outpatient Transportation department Monday through Friday, 8 am. to 5:45 pm, at (510) 752-5205. Call at least two hours before arrival, and note time of pickup and medical center destination.

Meet transporters at the patient pick-up area on Howe Street, between the Fabiola building and the East Entrance of the main Hospital building. After your appointment, ask staff members to call transportation (ext. 25205) for return to drop-off area.
